Happy Tails for Octavia - an unexpected gift!!

Meet Octavia! Octavia’s story began when her previous owner was evicted, leaving several cats—including her—abandoned in the backyard. Concerned neighbors quickly reached out for help, and we ensured every cat and kitten found safety.

Among those compassionate neighbors were Octavia’s future family, who stepped up, offering to foster her while she received the care she needed. It didn’t take long before hearts entwined, and it was clear Octavia had found her forever home.

A New Beginning

Now, Octavia is surrounded by love, embraced by her new family, and enjoying the comfort she so richly deserves. She’s quickly become an inseparable part of the household, bonding with her new feline siblings and basking in the joys of a pampered life.

"Hi Sharon,

I super appreciate the check-in.

Octavia* has been one of the most unexpected treasures we’ve ever received. As you know, we already have four cats, and adding a fifth was never in our plan. But we never really had a choice because personalities like this come around once in 1 million. Octavia is one of the most affectionate, unbothered, resilient and extremely playful cats that I have ever met. She loves with her whole heart and has never let the start of her life affect her. She plays at all hours of the day. She absolutely loves cuddles. And is actually one of those cats that will sleep next to you the whole night. She’s still learning to eat slower, that the food will always keep coming back. I’ve tried to explain her many times to many people, people who also have no interest in getting more animals. So far every single person that has ever met her has fallen in love. She falls asleep on new people instantly, she plays like nobody’s watching. Octavia loves to watch me get ready in the morning, and loves to watch me put on make up. She also loves to try and help me cook. We never expected to get a gift like her two weeks before our wedding, but we couldn’t imagine our lives without!

Kaitlin"
