My Story

Introducing Mitzie !!

Female DOB: July 2024 Estimated

Mitzie’s journey is one of resilience and gentle transformation. Rescued from the streets of Scarborough along with her kittens, Ezra and Sabine (now adopted), Mitzie arrived at the Adoption Centre emaciated and battling an upper respiratory infection. With loving care and time, she has made a remarkable recovery and blossomed into a thriving, healthy cat who has adapted beautifully to indoor life.

This lovely short-haired grey and white feline has the most captivating amber eyes, a delicate pink nose, and a truly gentle, sweet soul. Though she may be a little shy at first, Mitzie is intelligent and quickly learns how to let you know what she needs. She relishes gentle strokes, and her favorite moments are treat or dinner time, when her trust and gratitude shine through.

Mitzie enjoys observing the lively antics of kittens from a cozy perch high above, patiently waiting for her turn to explore and play once the bustle quiets down. Cat TV holds a special place in her heart—she’ll happily settle in and follow the moving images with wide-eyed curiosity. At the Adoption Centre, she gets along beautifully with both kittens and adult cats, respectfully keeping out of the way during rowdy play but always content to be part of the feline community.

To truly flourish, Mitzie would thrive in a quiet, loving home where she can be cherished for her gentle spirit and allowed to blossom at her own pace. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this remarkable girl, please fill out our online adoption application and reach out—Mitzie is waiting to become a cherished member of your family.
